R-LOK plug valves are quarter-turn instrument valves for isolating gauge, impulse and sampling lines. The SPV130 series covers 1/8 in to 1/2 in (3.2 to 12.7 mm) ports in 316 stainless steel or brass with standard head or panel-mount bodies, rated 3,000 psig (206 bar) at 100 F (37 C). How the plug valve works
A PTFE-coated cylindrical plug sits in a one-piece body with a straight-through bore. A quarter turn aligns the plug port with the line; turning it back isolates the line. Two Viton O-rings seal the plug, one on each side.
The handle shows valve state at a glance, which matters on gauge and impulse lines. The straight-through bore adds almost no restriction when fully open. These are isolation valves, not control valves: they are not for throttling, and not fire-safe or anti-static.
Ports and end connections
SPV1301 covers 1/8 in, 1/4 in and 6 mm tube plus 1/8 and 1/4 NPT. SPV1302 covers 3/8 in, 1/2 in, 8 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm tube plus 1/4 and 1/2 NPT.
Ends include R-LOK (G80-LOK pattern) tube, male and female NPT, BSPT, and mixed male NPT with tube outlet. Male-to-female ends fit a gauge port without an adapter; a panel-mount valve carries the P suffix, for example SPV1302P.
Ordering, testing and documents
Model codes read series, connection, port and material; port codes use inches (2, 4, 6, 8), metric (6M to 12M) or NPT and BSPT codes (2N to 8N, 2R to 8R). Mixed ends and specials are quoted case by case.
Shipments include a material certificate for the body and plug and a dimensional inspection report; a pressure test record comes on request. Packing uses sealed cartons or wooden cases with desiccant, and each valve carries a heat or lot marking.
Standards referenced: NPT threads to ASME B1.20.1; BSPT threads to ISO 7-1; 316 stainless bar stock to ASTM A479; Ratings per the manufacturer rating table; site piping design remains the buyer’s responsibility.

Pressure-temperature derating for 316 stainless steel: 3000 psig (206 bar) to 200 °F (93 °C), 2000 psig (137 bar) at 250 °F (121 °C), 1000 psig (68.9 bar) at 300 °F (148 °C), 350 °F (176 °C) and 400 °F (204 °C).

What is the minimum order quantity?
The MOQ depends on the model, the material and the total line list. Mixed orders are accepted, and small trial quantities are normally possible for a first shipment. Send sizes, quantities and destination port to receive a firm MOQ, unit price and lead time.
Which documents come with a shipment?
A material certificate for the body and plug and a dimensional inspection report are available with each order, and a pressure test record can be added on request. Certificates can name the heat number stamped on the valve.
Can I get BSPT threads instead of NPT?
NPT connections for the SPV130 series are widely available. The ordering code also lists BSPT port codes, and BSPP and metric threads are quoted as specials. Confirm the thread standard in your enquiry.
